A day to share….

A whole day to try something new, get a little muddy, laugh a lot and take on a few challenges — together!

Set across more than 50 acres of beautiful bushland on the shores of the Kincumber Broadwater, the day brings together adventure, challenge, play, food and plenty of space to simply enjoy being together.

For the boys, it’s a day packed with adventure and fun — with Mum right there alongside them. For mums, it’s a chance to step into their world, join the action and share the kind of time together that doesn’t need to be forced.

There’s no need to be the bravest, fastest or best at anything. Just give things a go, encourage each other, have a laugh and share a really great day.

Adventure looks a little different for everyone.

Kincumber offers an incredible range of outdoor, water and team-based adventures.

We’ll choose a carefully balanced mix of 3–4 professionally facilitated activities for the day — giving mums and sons opportunities to challenge themselves, work together and have a lot of fun along the way.

It’s the moments in between, too.

The activities are only part of the day. There’s time to eat together, talk, laugh, meet other mums and boys and simply enjoy being somewhere different together.

We create the space and bring the people together. What happens within can often be the part families remember most.

Big brothers for the day.

Our own sons join as mentors and are an important part of the Mother + Son experience.

Joining in the activities, encouraging the boys, bringing energy and fun, and offering the relaxed presence of older young men who young boys can naturally connect with.

While we call it our Mother + Son Adventure Day, we know that special bonds come in many forms.

This day is for mums and sons, nannas and grandsons, aunties and nephews — or any woman and boy who share that special kind of connection.

There’s no strict upper age limit — younger boys through to teens are welcome. For older boys especially, we encourage making the decision together. The day is at its best when you’re both up for the adventure.
